Description
Henners Vineyard is best known for their Sparkling Wines, but every now and then they'll send us something from their dirty tricks department. Exhibit A: Pinot Gris, certainly the first time I've seen this grape varietal grown on these shores but, as the climate warms, England is becoming more and more able to host vines that would otherwise be happier on the continent, and you know what? It's pretty damn good! For those of you that don't already know, Pinot Gris is the french way of saying Pinot Grigio (italian) - though regional differences make the two wines distinct. In time, we english will have our own way of saying it!
